Patricia Cesario, April 28th, 1967 – October 25th, 2009

In Memoriam

It is with much sadness that we share with you the news that Patricia Cesario, one of our legacy Woodbridge Campus parents and former Board Member, passed away on Sunday October 25th after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
 
For those of you who did know Patricia I think the best way to share with you the impact of her loss is through the words of one of our Founders and  Board Chair Fred Santini who describes Pat as “fierce in her dedication not only to her son Andrew but to all children with Autism and who fought tirelessly for the betterment of their lives.  Much of Shining Through’s success is attributed to Pat’s hard work.”
 
Pat has been a tremendous source of strength, advice and friendship to all of us here at Shining Through. She will be truly an deeply missed.


Paul Keane, Chair, Human Resources

Paul Keane is Vice President, Human Resources of CSA Group, Toronto, Ontario. Mr. Keane attended York University where he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree, P.P.A.

Prior to joining CSA in March, 2008, Mr. Keane held the position of Director, Human Resources with HD Supply Canada Inc., a wholesale distribution company focussed solely on serving the supply needs of professional customers in the infrastructure, construction, maintenance and repair and remodel markets. He was a key member of the Senior Leadership team and was responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function in Canada, reporting to the President of HD Supply Canada Inc.

Prior to that, Mr. Keane was Vice President, Human Resources at Waste Management of Canada Inc. wherein he was a senior level executive who oversaw the development and implementation of the strategic HR initiatives. He has also held senior level HR positions in the retail, pharmaceutical and specialty chemical industries.
